Ruby

Meet Ruby

Ruby is a sweet young 3/4 Border Collie and 1/4 Great Pyrenees mix, still quite puppyish at 14 months old. She is about 50lbs, with a black and white short coat.

Ruby is spayed and her vaccinations are up to date until March 2024. She is housetrained and has been quite clean since her arrival. She does tend to alarm bark at unknown noises, but stops when she knows the source. She is used to living in a rural environment. For that reason, an apartment or townhouse is probably not ideal for her.

Ruby is generally quite friendly, but can be shy until she is comfortable. Same goes with other dogs. Not known with cats. Ruby is not used to car rides, and will need some work getting comfortable climbing in and out of the vehicle. She tends to pancake and has to be lifted in. But once in and settled, she just wants to put her head on your shoulder!

Ruby loves to play in the yard with her two fellow foster dogs, including Reggie, and they get on well.
