Description: Hi, I'm Ruby, a sweet loving gentle soul that loves to be loved.

My life has not always been easy but I've never given up and continue to fight hard to find my place in this world.

My previous foster dad says the time he has spent with me has been a pleasure and ever so rewarding.

He has watched me bloom from the dark sadness that surrounded me and he has said it's one of the most heart warming experiences he has been a part of.

As I'm a little older in age, I am at the point in my life that I enjoy the big comfy couch as much as my morning walks.

Connecting with me took my previous foster parents only moments really and I am now eager to be at one's side.

In addition to being massaged and rubbed down, which I enjoy, I have the ability to draw you into some of the most endearing deep slumber naps.

My previous foster dad finds himself looking forward to the couch cuddling rubdowns more than a walk and we are now prone to skip a walk in favor of an evening of alone time together on the couch.

At first I struggled to make it around the block on our walks but now I am bopping along and have no issues completing two hour hikes.

Playtime in my backyard is fun too, my Jolly Ball will be donated to my adopter as it brings such happiness to me.

I will chase and run around with the Jolly Ball only to flop down and chew away at the delicious handle or I might even try and fit the whole thing in my mouth.

Just the other evening my previous foster dad watched me spend an hour self entertaining searching and sniffing for the ever elusive groundhog that lives under my previous foster dad's shed.

I am a smart girl and I love to train but to be honest I'm so sweet and kind that my foster dad spends most of our time enjoying each other's companionship.

I have a bit of prey drive but in general I am relaxed and carefree on leash.

I keep a good pace and I keep an eye on my foster parents to make sure everyone is accounted for and present.

I will make a wonderful new addition to your family for years to come.
