Hello, friends! My name is Rudie.

I am a sweet, intelligent girl who loves love! My rescuers call me the "perfect dog because I am gentle with humans and great with other dogs, too! My favorite hobbies are: hiking, playing, and snuggling.

As mentioned, hanging out with other dogs makes me super happy, so I'd love to be adopted by a family with another pup in the home, especially if they're able to show me the ropes and teach me the ways of my new family.

I'm a fast learner and always up for an adventure (as long as I get lots of cuddles when we get home).

I was a stray on the streets in Mexico, but then I was picked up and placed in the shelter.

To me, it was scarier than being on the streets.

One day, someone came to my kennel, put a leash around my neck, and I was taken away.

I thought I was free! Unfortunately, my story only gets harder to tell.

I was taken to a medical facility where horrible tests were done to me.

No one had ever loved me before, but no one had ever hurt me like that.

Finally, BFP came and really, truly saved me! I've been at the vet getting all the care I need to be ready to go to a loving foster home.
