Check out sweet Sabre who is looking for a Foster or Adopter, he had a very special day out with his volunteer friend, this is what she had to say about this AMAZING boy!! I Met this silver fox for the first time, and he greeted me with nothing but tail wags.
He smelled my harness and he knew he was getting ready for a big adventure.
He hopped right up into the car.
I strapped him into the car with his doggy seat belt and we were off.
He rode like a gentleman.
Just enjoyed smelling some smells and waiting until we got to our destination.
Once there, he waited for me to unhook him and then we were ready to hit the trails.
He was excited to see a furfriend, Wushter, was going to be joining us on our day out.
These two always checked in to see where the other was on trails.
If Sabre was leading, we would walk at a slow, relaxing pace.
Then Wushter would pass us, and Sabre then got some giddy up in his stride.
We would stop and take some water breaks, and Sabre just enjoyed lying in the sun while receiving some pets, and soaking it all in.
This couldn't have been a more perfect day.
We stopped at our favorite place to get a cheeseburger and a few chicken nuggets.
Oh boy, that was a treat!! After that, I laid down in the back to rest my belly and legs as it was a long, fun-filled adventurous day! Knows sit, takes treats gently.
He can pull off and on if he sees something he is excited for.
He wasn't a jumper.
He is potty trained, He is not destructive in the home.
No cats or small dogs.
Unsure how he would do with other dogs.
He would love a home where he was probably the ONLY dog and got all the attention and love.
Sabre is around 8 years old, don't let that fool you, he has some spunk, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and neutered.
