I'm Sadie! At about 1.5 years of age, I am a capable, smart, high-energy girl ready to tackle the challenge of my next level of training.

I already know commands of sit, down, paw, stay, leave it, ready, focus, break, and bring it.

I am making good progress with muzzle training and the "place" command.

My acute sense of smell makes me an excellent candidate for scent training, searching, or any activity requiring mental stimulation.

My stamina is evident while watching me run/play/train for any extended time.

I will maintain my focus.

An obstacle course may be an interesting possibility.

I can also be a super goofy, playful girl who loves fetch (although I can get a little too excited at times), tug-of-war, hikes, running, and adventures with a confident, trusted partner.

I would benefit from exposure to different environments so that I can become acclimated to all types of surroundings.

I love settling down with a good chew bone after expending energy.

Cuddling with my bestie proves so satisfying! I am crate trained and may use it as my safe place.

I also will sleep under your bed, in a dog bed, or close to my favorite person.

I startle easily and sometimes react with a growl.

I don't like loud noises, and not a great fan of car rides (I need to be secured).

I can be possessive of toys and food I enjoy, so it's probably best if I am the sole fur baby receiving your attention.

I am very loyal and protective of those I love.

I have lived with kids successfully in the past, but they should probably be old enough to know I don't always like to share.

I have so much love and potential for the right family, or that special person.

I know a lot already, but know there is so much out there that I have yet to explore.
