Meet Saffron & Taffeta
This mother-daughter team brings such brightness and joy, we can’t believe they’re still in rescue! We know why, though. Momma Saffron is FIV+, and Taffeta is not. Saffron is perfectly healthy, and FIV cats have long been overlooked in shelters and rescues due to the stigma attached to a FIV positive test result. But friends, you know we wouldn’t steer you wrong when it comes to kitty love - there is absolutely no reason not to take these two girls into your home as the only cats! Saffron won’t pass her FIV on to other kitties or to her daughter, as long as there is no fighting and biting, which there isn’t with these two. It’s a lickfest every day with the girls, as they are constantly demonstrating how much they love each other by helping keep each other’s coat nice and clean. They snuggle together, play together, and would love to stay together furrever and ever! Saffron is a bit shy and about 6 yrs. old, while her daughter is outgoing and snuggly, between 4 yrs. Can we get these lovebugs home? Both are very healthy and would love a furrever home together! They have been waiting YEARS! Please let 2021 be their year!
