Meet Saffy

Check out this beauty. Saffy and her sister Willow found their second chance in the spring of 2023. Found at a local orchard (April 21st) Joining the rescue at about 4-5 months old the sisters were scared beyond measure. In the last few months Saffy is a loving, friendly girl, with immense potential on being the best girl. She is a gorgeous tri colored Heeler mix (our best guess) Her beautiful eyes, perky ears, and observant self is searching for a place to call her own where she can thrive and learn. Saffy and willow have been with other dogs and have been introduced to lots of people at their foster home and have been steadily learning to trust…Saffy will need continued patience, training, and a secured fenced yard. She is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and spayed. Saffy weighs as of August 39 lbs. Saffy and her sister Willow would love a place together but could be separated and would be alright over time.

An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.

We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.

If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.

Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
