Salem is a 5-month-old female Shepherd (possibly Border Collie) mix who must be spayed before she is adopted. She was found at the Prattville Walmart and no one came to reclaim her. Salem has a medium length coat that is mostly black with a little bit of white markings. Her legs/feet are brindle. Salem is extremely shy and fearful of people; there is no telling what this poor girl has been through. She has warmed up to our staff and trusts them. Once Salem gets to know you--she is loving but shy. She currently weighs 24 pounds so she will be a medium sized adult dog who will weight 30-60 pounds. Salem needs a great home with a patient owner. Please consider showing this deserving girl the life she deserves.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a spay/neuter certificate which will help with the cost of spay/neuter. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
