Meet Sam

Two-year old Sam is always eager to please and loves getting treats. He will quickly become your best friend, with his feisty and fun personality. He is a chicken-lover, so winning his trust comes fast! Sam loves to cuddle and getting to spend time with anyone who will give him the chance. If he could sit in your lap or just be in your presence, his day is made! If someone would take him on an adventure, he would absolutely love that too! He also enjoys playing in the yard with his other furry friends.

Sam was found as a stray in Hale Center, TX with a few of his friends. After his shelter wait time, no owners came looking for him.

Sam is currently located with our rescue in the Texas Panhandle. We are one the partner rescues with Project Freedom Ride and do monthly transports to the PNW and NE.

All directly adopted dogs come vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered, if 6 months or older require a negative heartworm test, and up to date on flea & tick preventative and heartworm preventative if applicable and a negative fecal. Your adoption allows us to continue our mission. Thank you for opting to adopt!

As a Project Freedom Ride direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet would take place on video call (FB Messenger Call, WhatsApp, or Google Duo). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
