Meet Sapphire! Originally a stray from Hitchcock Road Animal Services, she has captured the hearts of everyone she meets.

Confident and full of energy, Sapphire is on the lookout for an active family who can match her both mentally and physically.

Her prior foster has shared that Sapphire has proven to be an agility natural, having attended classes with California Canine.

Outings are among her favorite activities, showcasing her love for exploration, and we can't forget her love for the water (this makes bath-time easy!).

Given her age and energy, Sapphire would thrive in a home with another energetic canine companion.

While she has expressed positive interest in cats, a gradual introduction is recommended.

An adult adopter or a family with older children would be best with Sapphire.

We are looking for experienced owners who will continue her positive training as she can be a bit mouthy at times.

Sapphire does come with pre-registration for basic training; positive reinforcement based.

Sapphire is currently in foster care and meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been received and approved.
