Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved.

We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.************ MEET SCOTT! This gentle soul is a 2 year old, neutered male, Labrador Retriever mix, 62 pounds.

He is in a foster home in Houston, TEXAS and can transport to an approved adopter.

Scott is a loveable guy who's still young and has some pep in his step! When he runs around the yard he has an adorable puppy "hop" where he bounces around.

He can run super fast and darts all over.

Scott is a gentle boy who takes time opening up and trusting people, but once he does he enjoys cuddling with his people and with his dog friends.

He has moderate energy and enjoys lounging in the yard in the sun.

There's not a mean bone in this boy's body.

We think Scott would do best with another dog in the home.

He adores other dogs and is good at sharing toys.

Scott is very receptive to other dogs desire to play and when to stop.

He has been fostered with both large and small dogs and gets along with all! He's fed separately as a general rule in his foster home, but not because we have seen any food aggression.

He has no issues taking treats around other dogs or sharing toys.

Scott is excellent in the home and fully housetrained.

He enjoys going into his crate and thinks of it as his "safe" space.

He's food motivated, so that's definitely a way into his heart! On leash, he's generally good and doesn't pull but can sometimes be skittish in environments that are unfamiliar.

We believe that if there are children in the home, it would be best if they are older and understand how to respect his space as Scott warms up.

He lives with a 12 year old girl and it took a little time for him to warm up to her.

We do not currently have any information regarding how he is with cats.

Scott is simply a sweet teddy bear who is looking for a home that has the patience and love to let him warm up and show his happy, sweet personality.

He would do great in a home with other dogs that have similar size and energy.

He would love to hang on your couch and show you lots of love.

We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time.
