ABOUT SHAMROCK
I mean look at that face! This handsome gentleman is 2 year old Shamrock. He came to HAP with his friend, Paddy O'Malley, when they were found wandering just a couple blocks away from HAP Wilmington. Although they were found together, they are not bonded and seem to love other dogs just as much! Despite being a big-headed boy, he is very gentle and well-mannered. Shamrock already knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and keeps his kennel clean. He is super food motivated, making the possibilities endless! His sweet personality paired with his tolerance of just about anything lead us to believe he would also do well with children around.

We are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog, but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
