Meet Sharp
Born around March of 2023, Sharp is male American Staffordshire Terrier mix (best guess). He is a medium to large puppy currently about 40 lbs. Good with cats, kids, and dogs. As a higher energy pup, he would love a family to take him on daily adventures.
Sharp loves to play fetch! He wants to be everyone's friend, dog and people alike. He bows when playing with his foster dog siblings and is constantly showing off his belly. This pup is very smart and already understands commands, even though he has only been in his foster home for a few days.
Ideally, his new home would be an active household with other animals. He is interested when he meets other animals but does not appear to be prey driven. Although he is a ball of energy, he sleeps very well after play time. He is eager to please and enjoys being around people!
Adoption ready: he is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, sleeps all night, crate trained, can be left alone, and is fully potty trained.
At the rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. We are 100% foster based and rely on volunteers and fosters to help in our mission. Our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED.
Adoption fee: $450-$550. Adopters may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option to your local area for an additional delivery surcharge of $250.
We will choose the most suitable home for each dog, not the first application received.
If the dog you are applying for is adopted, we have good matchmakers that will help you find your perfect new four-legged family member.
Since the dogs that come up are rescues, not much is known about them. Therefore breed and adult sizes are our best guesses and we cannot guarantee this information is accurate.
