Meet Sherley

Sherley is a chihuahua pug mix around 1-2 years old and about 14 pounds. She loves dogs and would do best with another friendly dog to help show her the ropes.

She was rescued from a backyard with 6 other dogs (two of which unfortunately had heat strokes and didn't make it), so she is still learning to trust people and how to be affectionate. She's a very timid girl but loves to play with dogs and once she begins to trust, her eagerness for affection shows.

She would do best with older kids and has not been around cats. She likes to sleep with her foster siblings on the bed at night and loves to play with toys during the day.

She is still working on potty training which will take some time and consistency, and is getting better on her leash with every walk. Her one floppy ear and curled tail are the cutest!

To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application. It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Our dogs are fostered but available for adoption. These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue.

Our out of state adoption fee includes: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm and flea preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, health certificate, and transport costs.

As a direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
