Looks like: Cairn Terrier mix
Male, 8 years old (estimated), 10 pounds Do not be fooled by his name, as Shiloh is neither shy, nor low energy.
He is very gregarious and friendly to all people, dogs, and cats that he meets.
This super sweet, gentle and happy pup is always in a good mood and appreciative of all the new experiences life has to offer.
Although his past is unknown to us, it seems that prior to joining POMDR, he has not had much of a chance to socialize, to be out and about, or be very active.
At his foster home he has been taking the How-to-Dog 101 crash course, and he is certainly catching on fast.
He has been gaining strength, weight, trust, and a sense of adventure.
Shiloh loves getting pets and attention, and is warming up to the idea of snuggles; being picked up is still a bit scary.
Although he enjoys going for walks, he gets a little nervous when cars drive by or he feels that he is getting too far away from known turf.
He prefers slow and gentle introductions to new experiences with the promise of getting exponentially braver over time.
He is house-trained, does well on car rides, and settles down right away when home alone.
Sweet Shiloh is a goofy and gangly chap with a unique high-stepping gait and slightly turned out front paws due to genetic bone deformities.
He is taking daily anti-seizure medication, but is otherwise in good health and we are so delighted to see him blossom and thrive.
Shiloh would benefit from a canine companion in his new home for guidance, comfort, and play.
This happy boy will be an excellent addition to any household where he can catch up on receiving all the love and attention he has missed out on up until now.
Shiloh came to us from Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority so that we could address his medical needs at our vet clinic.
