Meet Simba
Meet Simba, a 1.5-year-old male Great Pyrenees.
Simba was picked up by Sunnyside Animal control after being found in the roadway. Simba did have an injury to his leg that needed cared for but is now doing well. This handsome 112 pound boy is a whole lot of dog. He is extra large with a very tall build. Simba has been very well behaved at the adoption center but he is too large for the kennels at the shelter and needs a home with plenty of room for him asap.
Please do your breed research prior to applying for Simba as his breed does have some special considerations.
This pet is available for adoption at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center.
Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday.
A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
