ABOUT SKIPPER
This curious boy is a 1-year-old retriever mix. Skipper came to us on a transport from a high-intake shelter partner! Skipper loves to play outside with his doggie friends here at the shelter! We are learning more and more about Skipper each day as he is a little nervous in the shelter setting. Although nervous at first, he loves treats (especially when he can bring them back on his bed all for himself)! He definitely is curious, and we think he would benefit from an owner who can work on his confidence.

If your interested in Skipper, you are welcome to submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is first-come, best-match basis. We are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in a specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children's and other dogs, must come for the meeting to ensure its a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fee's include the animals spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
