Meet Slim (Willie McCoy)

Meet Slim! Slim is a lovely boy that came to us as a stray. Slim lived in a foster home for a while, and his foster had nothing but good things to say about him! Slim is a very affectionate boy and can be quite the cuddle bug. He likes to snuggle up on the couch and will race to the door as soon as you are home!

Slim loves to be pet, but more importantly he loves his food! Slim is relatively calm during the day but it has been noted he becomes a bit more active during the day. Due to his love for food, he will try to explore your kitchen for some leftovers. We are excited to talk to you about tools for success regarding this behavior. He is a very affectionate cat who likes people but not so much cats. He may do well with another cat following a slow introduction, but would also be fine being the only feline friend in the house. Slim is one of our Special Care pets meaning he needs a bit more love.

Slim had intestinal surgery where a segment of his small intestines was removed. He now occasionally has "cowpie" type stool but will also have normal stool. As he has been given the usual treatments and it still occurs, he may have this problem life long and it may be related to his intestine segment removal.

His foster relayed that he had loose stool at her house but it was twice and day and always in the box.
