Looking for an older, quirky soul? Smokey is your MAN!

He is so sweet and once you see him in person, you will fall in love instantly. Ever seen a medium size dog with short stubbier legs? His size is so cute and you won't be able to resist him. He is a funny looking dude ready to be spoiled rotten. He is about 7-8 years old and is the perfect mature age for a move-in ready home. He is about 40 pounds.

Smokey does well walking on a leash and he loves pets and cuddles. He gets so excited to go on walks and has "happy feet" when it's his turn to go outside.

He is currently going through heart worm treatment and would love a foster or foster-to-adopt home to rest in! Once he has been treated, he will be good as new (heartworms are not contagious so you can have other pets in home)! He is available to transport. We have a transport every 3 weeks.

IF he gets adopted out of state, the rescue will pay to have him continue his heart worm treatment in his new home (until his treatment is finished)!
