Social Hound Mix EMERY for Adoption

Emery is a gorgeous, sweet, young Black and Tan Coonhound mix.

He’s a friendly guy who knows how to make the most of his hound genetics! Smart as a whip, loves to smell, and likes to play ball.

This boy absolutely loves humans! Squeak balls command all his attention, making exercising him a lot of fun! He also loves running and loves to play with water.

We keep wondering if he would be a pro at swimming or boating?

Emery is an absolute catch for an active person who also enjoys regular exercise.

Emery has actually mastered leash walking quite well since he has been at my house.

Presently, our playful spirited dog has graduated from board & train with professionals investing much time, energy into enrichment & reinforcement training.

We felt Emery was worth the extra effort & ideally would like to find an adopter who is a skilled guardian with serious interest in following through on this training regiment.

To date Emery, who the trainers describe as a"yoga dude" has mastered no, sit, down, come, heel on a loose leash, stay, kennel, wait, drop it, release from all jobs prior.

He seems to do well playing with calm females or dogs those with grounded demeanors.
