Meet Sophie

Sophie is a mixed breed, mature lady, who can only hope her soft coat and lovely demeanor land her in a beautiful home to call her own!

Silly SOPHIE is enjoying a kind of life she had never known - being an indoor dog.

We don't know her whole life story, but we do know Sophie was a working dog, helping herd sheep on a ranch. Her person, sadly, developed dementia, and she fell to the back burner.

Sophie seems baffled by dog beds and unfamiliar with toys, but she knows what love is and she sure basks in it. She deserves a soft, warm place to spend her retirement, cherished and doted on.

She's a very sweet girl, does fine with other dogs and with cats. She is 14 years old and has some arthritis, so she would appreciate a home without stairs.
