Meet Sophie

How can you resist that adorable little face. What a love bug. Sophie is a 1-2 yr old female wire hair terrier mix that is 11 inches of pure love and weighs 12. 6 lbs. She is UTD on her vaccinations and dewormed. She is not spayed yet, but will be prior to her adoption.

Sophie lives with 3 small dogs and enjoys playing with them. She has not been in contact with cats, so we do not know how she would do with them. She has not been around children or livestock.

Things Sophie enjoys are...... hanging outside in a fenced in yard and chilling or playing with her roomies. She has a 4 foot chain link fence and does not get out. She also enjoys a bath and brushing. Sophie also enjoys attention and likes to play fetch out in the yard and of course playing with her toys.

Sophie uses potty pads in the house and sleeps in a crate at night. She probably would make a good traveling companion. Maybe even could go for walks in the park in a doggie stroller : ) She would like to be someone's baby.

An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.

We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.

If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.

Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
