Meet Sparkie
Meet Sparkie M.
I'm Sparkie M. -- The initial is cuz Sparkie or Sparky seems to be a big favorite these days. That's okay. I think it stands for Sparkie Magnificent. I was a hard-start kid, and my foster family wasn't too sure I was going to make it - but I'm a strong-minded, rough-and-tumble kind of guy, and my people believed in me, so I tried real hard to get well. My biggest problem was a bad eye infection like throw-away kittens often get, but the vet care was good and so were my foster caregivers, and now I see just about everything I want to!
I've been growing up with a couple of other throw-aways from different places, and kids like us will take that even chance and THRIVE! I like cool toys, snuggling by invitation, cat trees, and wrestling and hard play with my foster buddies, but I'm also good at backing down when I hear NO! It's just that I'm so glad to be Full of Life now that I'm healthy! I'll need a cat-savvy experienced home with supervising adults ad OLDER KIDS - please, no very small ones for me - I just don't have the patience. You can see from my photo that I have a gorgeous long coat I'm pretty proud of. My house living skills are good; I'm okay with polite dogs, but with other kitties, you need to help me set some boundaries so I can "curb my enthusiasm."
I've grown up with two beautiful young teenage girls, and I'd love my new home to have some smart, cat-savvy, loving teenagers. Can we talk about it?
Will need a well-managed, patient, cat-experienced household and good adult supervision. Takes direction well, but will need help setting boundaries as he learns what is expected in his new home.
Please feel free to chat with foster parents if you have questions. This is a fun little boy for the right household.
