Meet Spicey, a 3-year-old male Husky mix.

Spicey was very excited to get out in the park for his photo shoot. He had a hard time looking at the camera as there were so many other things for him to look at. Spicey was very interested in other dogs. He got happy and would bark at them. A meet and greet with any other dogs in a home is required prior to adoption to make sure they get along with Spicey energy level.

A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
