Meet Squints
Squints is back at the adoption center. After a recent adoption that didn't work out, Squints was left running the streets of Yakima. The kind person that brought him in said that he was great with her child and cool with having a bath. Squints does get bored and needs a family that will treat him as a valued member. He can get out of most fences and needs supervised in his yard until full confinement is confirmed.
Meet Squints, a 2.5-year-old male Husky mix.
Squints is a special boy. His ears are very unique. Squints has features that are more narrow and his ears are almost touching. This makes his eyes appear to be squinting, hence how he got his name. Squints still has very much a puppy personality! He loves when he gets to go out for walks and becomes quite playful. Once he gets his initial energy out of him, he does very well out on his walks. He does well with other dogs but needs to be in a household with NO cats. He went over to Vet Tech and the students adored him, they said he is more than willing to give all the kisses.
This pet is available for adoption at the Yakima Adoption Center.
A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
