Meet Miss Stella! She’s a 50 pound 2-year-old black mouth cur mix.

Stella made her journey from California to WA to find her forever home! Since arriving in her foster home in Washington she has opened up, and mixed right into the house with all her foster siblings.

She became one of the pack instantly.

Stella is sweet and friendly! Food and treat motivated.

Potty trained if she has access to the outside.

She has a lot of energy but won’t pass up a chance to take a nap on the couch during the day.

Stella is being fostered with dogs of all age and sizes.

She absolutely LOVES to play with her doggy companions.

Her foster home has taken her to the dog park multiple times, and she's been an absolute peach.

She avoids conflict with pushy dogs and happily shares the space with dogs around her, large and small.

She enjoys a good nap after a play session.

She has youthful energy, but has the ability to mellow out after some exercise! Stella has been cat-tested, and she wasn’t overly interested in the resident cat.

She may be able to live in a cat friendly home with a slow introduction! She loves neighborhood walks on the leash and has already learned how to use the doggy door! Stella would be a fantastic fit for a family looking for a cuddly, interactive dog who has tons of love to give.

She would do good with kids 10 and above, and if daily walks are provided, a fenced yard is not necessary.

She’s still puppy like in some ways but seems very receptive to corrections! Stella would be wonderful for a family looking to add a dog companion for their dog, or just wanting to add a single dog to their family! Currently, we are working with Stella on her "mouthing".

Our guess is that she didn't receive the proper training as a puppy--and it's all in good fun--however, we want Stella to become the best version of herself that she can be! As of February 1st, her training is progressing well! She's such a happy, little thing...
