Meet Stella

Questions about our adoption process can generally be answered by reviewing the Adoption FAQ's.

Stella is a 1-2 year old spayed female, she is up to date on vaccinations, including rabies.
She is a pit/black Lab/Shepherd mix, black and white with a little brown spot on her cheek, short coat.

Stella’s owner is rehoming her because they dont have time for her.
Stella is great with the American bully she lives with, she is good with cats, likes to play with, and cuddle with, good with kids 15 years and older, needs older kids until she learns manners (she will jump up with excitement)

Stella is house-trained, will whine at the door, is ok in a kennel for a few hours at a time.
Has a lot of energy, she needs daily walks.
Stella takes treats very nicely,
She knows sit, stay, roll over, in kennel, off and up.
She will whine for a few min when you leave but has no other issues,
she likes car rides, is loving, loves attention, love to give kisses, she is loyal, likes to sleep with her human, loves to hangout with her people and she is friendly to everyone she meets!

An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.

We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.

If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.

Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
