Sweet Stevie checks all the boxes you would want in a dog! Loves to get and give kisses, extremely affectionate, playful and obedient.
He is always up for an adventure, a hike, a walk, or even a run! Yet likes his naps and independent play.
He doesn't know he has a lame leg and has adjusted to it perfectly.
It doesn't seem to bother him or stop him from all normal dog activities, although sometimes he needs a short break before leaping up and running after a toy.
And he sits like a person with legs outstretched and crossed at the ankle, not like a dog.
Adorable! He will love any other dog in your life, and will want to play with your cats so supervise if the cat is not so inclined.
Does best around older children as he may be too playful for very small children.
He loves to play, especially with stuffed toys.
There isn't a mean bone in his body; non-aggressive and friendly, but does protect his food at times as do most dogs.
He may have a little fear in him with new people, but a slow and patient introduction is all it takes.
His joy for life and cuddly nature is contagious.
He plays fetch and knows basic commands, sleeps in his bed at night, and is fully potty and leash trained.
Watch out tho, he will steal your sock or slipper and sleep with it to keep you close and he thinks he's a lap dog! But he won't damage it or anything in your house.
Stevie will be a loving, loyal, protective, and active companion for life, ideal buddy for an older child or active person.
He even seems to know when I'm not feeling well or in need of comfort as he stays by my side (and tries to sit on my feet or lean on me).
All Stevie needs now is you.
