Meet Stormy

A charming and affectionate 2 year old mixed breed in search of her forever home! Due to her past experiences (details below), it may take Stormy a couple of days to fully open up, but once she does, she's all about cuddles and playtime! She thrives on being by her foster mom's side throughout the day, making her an ideal companion for a household where someone is frequently present. While she enjoys going on morning walks, she falls into the low to mid-energy category.

Stormy is house-trained (uses a doggy door) and is exceptionally well-socialized with other dogs. Given her shyness, introducing her slowly to other dogs is strongly recommended. It's worth noting that Stormy isn't a fan of crates and will happily entertain herself with chew toys, ensuring your furniture stays intact when she's left alone.

Stormy's past: Stormy was found in a storm drain with her puppies (some living and some deceased). The entrance to the drain was so small that no one could get through and pull them out, so the fire department had to flush them out with water pressure. Stormy and her two living puppies made it out safely after a few hours. Then a few days later Stormy had an infected joint that was starting to go septic. She had to be split from her puppies so she could take a life-saving antibiotic. Currently she takes two medications daily for anxiety.

Our dogs are fostered but available for adoption. These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue.

Our out of state adoption fee includes: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm and flea preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, health certificate, and transport costs.

As a direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
