Meet Suki
Suki’s story started in East, Tx in a small town named Crockett, Tx. She was spotted by a good samaritan who noticed she had a tight wire around her neck, which needed immediate medical attention. Prior to her being rescued, we aren't sure how much love and attention she received, but we do know that she loves every person she encounters and she loves to play with other friendly dogs.
She’s a mixed breed female, approximately one year old, spayed, and up to date on all vaccinations. She weighs 64 pounds and is still filling out! She stays in her cage while her foster mom is at work or leaves the house, although Suki would love to be out of her kennel and be able to free roam. Suki sleeps outside her kennel at night, and doesn't chew on furniture, shoes, or other household items. Suki is fed separately at his foster home. She plays well with bones and toys with her other friends in the house. She’s dog friendly towards all dog sizes, small and large dogs. She is house trained, and leash trained, and loves to go on car rides to explore new adventures with her foster mom.
She loves all people (men and children), and is truly the all around perfect family dog.
She does have mild separation anxiety due to her unknown past. Some examples of her separation anxiety are whining when in her kennel, not wanting to be outside alone without her people or other dogs around, for long periods of time, and tearing up dog beds while left in her crates for long periods of time.
Suki’s perfect family would be one that had another dog to keep her company and for her to play with. She just wants to be around her caretakers and to be truly loved by a family of her own!
Can you give her what she deserves?
Suki is located in Houston, TX, but can be transported to any state.
