Summer was born approximately on July 7th 2021. She was found as a stray with open wounds on her legs and feet. Her owners were never found. She spent some time healing at a foster home and she did great. Friendly with people and children. Loved spending time with the family and snuggling and playing with them. She has been at the facility for some time now all healed and working on manners. She is improving her leash training and learning not to jump. She knows sit and understands the command NO. I love doing zoomies in the yard and spending time outdoors. She has made some friends at the facility. Slow introductions would be recommended. Summer is very smart and would be amazing once she gets in a home with a family that trains her and shows her love and security.

Our dogs & cats are fostered in Texas but are available for adoption in Northern States. With stops in Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho.

These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue.

Our out of state adoption fee is $600, which includes the transport cost. We will deliver your new dog to you at a partnering Petco location so it is safe. This fee includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, a 24Petwatch registered microchip, testing for heartworm and tick-born diseases, and a fecal analysis. Dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

This fee helps us save other abandoned animals here in Texas where there is huge number of homeless and abandoned pets.

As an Apollo direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
