Sunshine

Sunshine is an 8 lb 7 yr old female long haired chihuahua (prior owner said she was 7 yrs old but her vet records say she is 10, she seems to me closer to 7). She is super shy, once she warm up and feels safe and comfortable her favorite place is curled up right next to you. Shes mostly housebroken but does have accidents and pad trained. She would do best in a nice and calm home. She doesnt bark much, although a stranger at the door might inspire a few yelps. Her former mom hurt herself and could no longer care for her. She can be nippy when shes approached by someone she doesnt know. Once she feels comfortable shes fine. She would do best in a home without young children however my 2 year old grandson comes over and he leaves her alone and shes perfectly fine with him. She is okay with other dogs large or small around her but she does get possessive of her person and will growl or nip to keep them away from them. I have told her no, and she allows my chihuahua ti sleep next to me.
