Sad and broken this little girl needed weeks of treatment before finally being the fully fit pup she was destined to be.
WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT ME
Introducing the one and only Sushi! Flappy ears, timid personality and the most rewarding puppy! Little Sushi has come a long way from the shy puppy she once was and with loads more love, we are confident she will become well socialized and adjust into her best doggy life. Sushi has been out at foster with a couple doggy foster 'siblings'. Sushi would do well with another dog but they would need to be super, ultra tolerant. Sushi just loves being close to other dogs and will often sit on her foster sister. She always wants to play and can be very persuasive when the older dogs just want to chill. Her older 'brother' tells her he doesn't want to play so she rolls around and keeps trying. We have been working on consent before engaging and playing together with toys rather than ruff-n-tumble. Sushi has been having lots of great experiences. Going to different places and meeting heaps of new people. This often results in lots of big smiles and with a bit of patience she is happy to say hello. She thinks the horses are big dogs and is learning they aren't the same species. With lots of positive reinforcement and plenty of understanding this little girl will enjoy getting to know the wider world. Sushi has recovered from a leg injury and is doing well but does still need to take it a bit easier.
