Tank can live with children over the age of 8, but he can't live with another dog. He is house trained and can be left alone for a few hours without worry. He has had skin issues in the past that have now cleared, but there is the possibility that he may have flare ups in the future.
Is Tank right for you?
Tank is a laid back 6 year old Bulldog who likes the easy life. Nothing much seems to phase him, and he's taken very well to life in a foster home. He likes to greet everyone that comes to the house with enthusiasm! Tanks loves loves contact with people and will let you pet and coo over him all day, and he doesn't go short of attention. He's a little less ecstatic about the prospect of exercise, especially if it's raining, but he'll stand nicely to have his harness put on. When Tanks is out and about, he'll happily greet other dogs but he will always try to mount them, and for this reason he will need to be the only dog in the home. His behaviour with others will need to be managed outside, but he does enjoy canine company on his walkies. Tank isn't bothered by birds and wildlife but he'll have a half hearted chase after a cat if he spots one, but he seems more curious than anything. At home, Tank can be very helpful with the housework as he will hoover any food that is dropped on the floor! He's such a laid back lad, he sleeps plenty and likes to have access to a cool surface when he does.
