Taylor is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up! Meet Taylor! Taylor is estimated to be 1 year old and a lab mix who currently weighs 50 pounds.
Taylor is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and ready to find a family to call her own! Taylor is a sweet goofy girl who just wants to give you all of her love and look at you lovingly with her amber eyes.
She is very loyal and affectionate and she LOVES getting affection back.
She’s the kind of dog that thinks you’re the best human to have walked the Earth and lets you know that with kisses.
She loves hanging out with you and is a perfect companion and family member.
Taylor learns quickly and is very receptive to training and to people in general.
Taylor is dog-friendly and has lived with several different dogs.
Taylor and her foster brother love to play together.
We would describe Taylor as having a moderate energy level.
She would love an active family or a yard to run her zoomies in.
She enjoys playing fetch and would love a family that will play with her! She's also happy with getting affection and attention on the couch.
Taylor still has some “puppiness” left in her, but I think she will lose some of that energy.
Taylor likes to chase cats, so we'll be looking for a home for her without a cat.
Taylor is kid friendly! She's been around young school aged children and does great with everyone.
Taylor walks great on a leash! She will stay calmly by your side.
Taylor is fully potty trained! She's really great about letting you know when she needs to go out and potty.
Taylor is crate trained and is amazing about going into her crate! She will occasionally go into her crate on her own accord when her foster mom is working from home.
Here are a few positive things Taylor's foster mom had to say about her: Taylor acclimated in no time once she got here.
During the workday, she entertains herself and stays calm and quiet.
In the afternoons, she patiently waits for some playtime or a walk.
Taylor is happy to meet strangers inside and outside of the home! She's super friendly with everyone that she meets and greets everyone with tail wags! Taylors ideal home would be one that lets her give them all the kisses she wants and is happy to have a little shadow.
Taylor likes to play, even with humans, so her ideal home would have plenty of playtime with her and maybe playtime with other dogs in the house.
