Are you right for Tea?
Tea is a lovely seven-year-old Great Dane who builds strong bonds with the people she knows. She can be a little selective when getting to know someone new, so potential adopters should expect that she may need a few meets depending on her initial greetings. Tea is after a quiet home where the youngest are older teens and keen on a larger-than-life BFF in their family. Tea can be reactive towards other dogs and unknown people so she has been learning to wear a muzzle when out on walks and is doing brilliantly! Adopters will be expected to keep her on a lead and ensure that she wears a muzzle in public, but as an older girl for her breed, she won't be asking for lots of walks. A secure garden with 5ft fencing would be a great outlet for her to practice her (gentle) zoomies and the occasional play with a teddy. If you rent your property please have written permission from your landlord before applying for a dog.
Is Tea right for you?
Tea has been living the good life with one of our staff members and she describes her as an absolute angel in the home. She loves snoozing the day away on the sofa and enjoys getting up close for a cuddle. She has brightened our days in the office too where she has settled brilliantly, occasionally making the rounds for a head scratch from everyone. Tea was sadly found with her deceased owner so we don't know much about her history, nevertheless she has shown herself to be a true gentle giant when she is with her favourite people. Could you offer Tea the quiet retirement home she's been looking for?
