Meet Teddy

We don't understand how our sweet Teddy has languished in the shelter longer than any other dog. Anyone who has looked Teddy in the face will recognize the friendly twinkle in his knowing look. He has stunning amber eyes that stand out against his sleek black coat. This mature handsome Black Lab (possibly mixed with some Staffordshire terrier) is a big boy, but most of all, Teddy is a full-on teddy bear.

Teddy is happy-go-lucky, with a playful spirit. He likes other dogs and is also a people pleaser. One of his favorite things is to play fetch in the play yard. He gets very excited when it is time for him to go for a walk, and he walks very well on a leash. Teddy prefers to do his business away from his home, and he has developed the signature move of always pooping in the middle of the road. Our volunteers find this oddly charming (dog people gotta love em!)! More importantly, this means that Teddy's adopter is unlikely to experience any housebreaking accidents with tidy Teddy!

It would be a joy to anyone to bring this great dog into their home. This deserving boy has waited a long time for you to give him his greatest wish -- a home of his own.
