Meet Tessa
Bio for Tessa and Leia - a bonded pair

These two lab mix ladies are approximately 10 months old and are a bonded pair. They were born in Texas at the end of September 2022 and spent their first 7 months with only each other in a barn. They are fixed, good with cats and other dogs but may need to be in a home with no children or older children due to resource guarding their humans, which is actually getting alot better.

They will require some training with lots of time and patience because everything is so new for them.The first time they have been inside a home or loved by a human was when they arrived in Colorado to be with their fosters in April. They have made great progress, but it's clear they need one another to thrive. Both ladies are pretty timid, more so Leia who is frightened by quick moving, loud noises and basically everything else in life.

They're both suuuuper sweet and will follow you everywhere, they just want love and attention. They are almost like twins in the way they act, play, talk, look and move. Sometimes it's hard to tell them apart even after two months. Both enjoy snacks, and playing but could use more time on a leash and are learning not to jump- they just get so excited.

I'm certain they would be wonderful companions on road trips, hikes, lazy days on the couch, whatever your heart's desire. They're very loyal and loving ladies.

It may have to be a couple meet and greets patience, soft spoken, and gentleness is a must!
