PERSONALITY TRAITS:

Tex is a big boy, but such a gentle giant. He walks great on leash, and loves the water. He's great with all dogs - male/female,young/old, large/small. He's great with kids of all ages. He has become quite depressed in the shelter. The regular volunteers make an effort to get him outside to play as often as they can. In his previous home, he lived with a small dog and young children. This is the second time Tex has been returned to the shelter. The first time his people split up. Tex's next owner surrendered him to the shelter because he wasn't spending enough time with Tex. This is to point out Tex was returned due to absolutely no fault of his own. It's about time Tex catches a break and finds his people that won't abandon him but rather let him fit into their lives and schedules. Tex is a good boy and deserves to finally have a family/person care for him the rest of his life.

Tex is:
• Good with other dogs - male/female, young/old, large/small
• Good with children - of all ages
• Good off leash in doggy playgroups
• Knows basic commands
• House-trained
• Crate-trained

Tex is a turn-key boy! There has to be a family/person out there that is looking for a pooch with all of these qualities! He is running out of time – in fact he's past his “due out” date! Please!
