Tilly

Meet Tilly! Tilly and her sisters, Trixie, Millie, Mitzi and Monroe, were found in a scrap yard in a suburb of Houston, Texas.

They were part of a litter of 8 pups.

Tilly and Trixie lived at the same foster home and MIllie and Mitzi live at another foster home.

Monroe was taken in by another rescue.

All the sisters have been adopted except for sweet Tilly and we can't imagine why that is!!! Tilly is approximately 5 months old and weighs about 36 lbs.

We think she is a lab/shepherd mix, but her sister looks a bit like a cur mix.

These babies were born in a scrap yard where dogs are frequently dumped.

Tilly has had all her vaccinations, is spayed and microchipped.

Tilly is such a sweet girl.

Trixie was the protector initially we first picked them up, but Tilly has emerged with some personality! Tilly LOVES belly rubs.

It's almost like she is in a trance when you rub/scratch her belly.

She loves pets and kisses and attention.

She loved to play with her sister and other dogs.

Her foster mom has six small breed dogs and Tilly gets along with them great.

Tilly loves playing with her toys and having a home instead of living outside! We rescued Tilly and her sister and got them into a foster home right before some winter weather hit and it seems they understand because they are both so thankful to be inside! Both Tilly and Trixie are fully potty trained as their foster mom has a doggy door and have been left inside the home to roam free while their foster mom goes to work since day one.

They are very eager to please and are very smart and quick learners.

They were both very well behaved for their first vet visit.

They were very quiet and well mannered for their exam and only a little bit of barking at the other pups in the waiting room.

We think they were just saying a friendly hello! They are expert car riders and are very quiet and well behaved in the back seat.
