The big cuddly teddy bear with a heart as warm as his fluffy fur! At just 5 years old, Timber is a lovable and gentle giant who thinks he's a lap dog. He's the perfect companion for those seeking a furry friend with an abundance of affection to share.

Timber is a dog-friendly fella, especially with other large breeds. He loves making new canine pals and enjoys playdates at the park. However, please note that Timber is not a fan of cats, so a cat-free household is a must.

One of Timber's standout qualities is that he's fully house-trained. You won't have to worry about any indoor accidents with this well-behaved pup around. He's also past the puppy phase and can be trusted to be left unsupervised without the need for crating.

While Timber is a sweetheart indoors, he can be a bit anxious and may pull on the leash during walks. He's still learning to master the art of walking on a leash and would benefit from patient and gentle guidance during this training process.

Timber prefers the company of older kids who can understand his gentle nature and play with him in a way that makes everyone happy. With Timber by your side, you'll have a loyal and loving companion who's always up for a cuddle session and ready to brighten your days with his warm and friendly personality.

To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application. It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Our dogs are fostered but available for adoption. These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue.

Our out of state adoption fee includes: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm and flea preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, health certificate, and transport costs.

As a direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
