Meet Tio
Tio is being fostered at Wind River Canine Partners. Here's a word from Tio: I think it's time we all had a little talk. It seems like I've been waiting around at this Wind River Canine Partners place for quite awhile and I just don't get it. Yea, this place is quite luxurious and the humans are well trained, but something is missing. I have lots of dog friends, they come in all sizes and variety. I have lots of fun toys, because what dog doesn't love toys. I have plenty of good looks - I've see my pictures. But gee, I'd really love to have my own best friend.
Let's say we've just met. You might not think that we could ever be best buddies because I tend to get a little, ummm, overzealous with my voice. But how do I know if you're a safe human? It's a myth that big dogs don't get scared.
So I'll call it what it is. Anatidaephobia - oh, wait, that's Fear of Being Watched by A Duck. Well, whatever. But there you have it. My preference is to get to know humans nice and easy, I don't like to be rushed, but I know from experience that once we know each other, I will be your biggest fan and have no problem in being a snuggle bunny.
I'll end with an important quote you should know if you adopt me: ""If you think German Shepherds can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then give him only two of them.""
