Meet Toast! Toast is a 4 year old beagle boy that comes to us after a change in his owner's work schedule/life that left him cooped up in an apartment during the day which was not to his liking.
Prior to that, Toast was rescued from a lab, so it is no surprise that it takes Toast a little time to get used to his surroundings.
We believe that Toast's fur-ever family includes a patient, experienced beagle owner.
Toast will likely do best in a home with another dog.
Toast is described as a love bug by his foster mom, and he gets along great with his foster sister (another beagle gal!).
He is a little slow to warm up to new people and need controlled introductions to new people.
Toast is not a fan of being home alone and will bark for quite a while.
With time and patience he will learn that his humans will return for him.
He does need to lose a little weight, so regular walks and exercise is a must.
His foster mom says he is a strong boy on a leash.
What do you think, is Toast a match for your family?
Please be sure you have filled out an adoption application and hopefully he can meet you soon!
