Meet Toby

Toby loooooves cats! If you are looking for a bigger dog that you can safely bring home to your cats, look no further. He is in a foster home now with cats (and a dog) but when he was with me in the rescue, he stayed in the house with the cats and he was left unsupervised with cats (which I never do with medium to large dogs) because he is THAT great with them. The cats would actually go to him to play with him and he is so gentle with them. His foster momma said that he has also developed a sense of protecting the property so while he is gentle and sweet, he will also be a good guard dog.

Toby has had a very rough start. The picture with the red dog, his mom, is from when him and his 5 siblings and mom were first photographed at a rural shelter after being seized in a cruelty case. As you can see they were nearly starved to death. Then after a week at the shelter, they were at risk of being euthanized due to overcrowding at the shelter. So we got them all out and everyone is healthy and happy now. Toby deserves the absolute best after what he has been through.

Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 4, lepto vaccine x 2, lyme vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, heartworm tested, on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention.
