Meet Tootsie
This adorable little lady is Tootsie. She is roughly 4 years old and only 37lbs. She was found as a stray and as soon as her hold was up she came to IEBR. She tested positive for heart worms and as been fully treated and doing great. As we got to know Tootsie in her foster home it seems most likely she was abused with her previous owners but she learned to trust her foster parents and is a super sweet girl. She is crate trained but prefers to sleep with her foster mom. Because of her past abuse we are looking for a home with no children and a calm fur sibling. Are you that family?
