Meet Trinity
Trinity, a 3 year old, 23 lb., Parson Russell/Terrier mix, is a sweetheart looking to settle into a loving forever home. Prior to her rescue, she had been taken to the shelter by her owners to be euthanized as they no longer wanted her. But all that is behind her now and she is looking forward to a bright and happy future!
Fondly called our “tripod”, Trinity is missing her rear right leg but that does not slow her down. She runs around and plays like any other dog. Trinity LOVES running in the yard. She walks well on a leash, however, her preferred exercise is romping in the backyard, so a secured yard is a must if she is going to be allowed off leash.
Trinity will do best as either the only dog in the home or with a gentle, friendly female dog of similar size to her. She was previously homed with female dogs without issue. In her current foster home there are 3 male dogs and she is less comfortable with them. However, she has been doing very well with small socializing sessions in the yard with one at a time while leashed and has responded well to that. She also lived with a cat that she showed no interest in.
Trinity is very much a den animal and would like her own crate where she can go when she chooses. She has not been destructive in the foster home. She would prefer a forever home where she is not left alone for long periods of time as she will quickly bond with her adopter.
This affectionate little girl who loves to snuggle under blankets on the couch, would benefit from having a confident owner who will show her all the love she deserves and help her be a confident dog. She is very eager to please!
