Trooper

Look at this face! Trooper is a 1 year old German Shepherd x Lab, and he has a unique condition that caused him to lose pigment on his nose, mouth and , and his eyes turned blue (when he was a puppy, he was all black with brown eyes!).

Think of it like the doggy version of vitiligo.

There are no health concerns - but in summer, he'll need sunscreen on his nose so it doesn't burn.

Trooper is an all around great guy.

He LOVES people, has never met a stranger, and does great with other dogs.

He is a bit of a velcro dog and bonds strongly to his person.

He has moderate energy, loves to play, and loves going anywhere you go.

He's the ultimate goofy puppy, and he doesn't know his size, so he may try to jump on you - he responds well to training however, and all he needs is a gentle reminder that he should keep his feet on the floor.

He tries real hard but his excitement gets the better of him at times.

Trooper was surrendered back to our rescue (we had him when he was a tiny puppy) with his brother CeeLo when his humans had to move.

He can be placed separately or with his brother.

He's fine either way.
