Meet Vance
Vance is a smiley pit bull terrier who was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas moments before he was to be euthanized for space.
He is a big, sweet and happy boy, and we love that he always has the biggest smile on his face! He is super friendly and loves to play with other dogs- he is submissive and takes social cues well should his new pup friend need a few days to warm up to him. Vance loves being outside and would do very well in an active home with another pup-sibling and family who can provide him with the stimulation, play, and attention he craves! He is great on a leash and would be the perfect hiking buddy. Vance is good with people and great with kids, but due to his size, we suggest a home with children over the age of 10! He is an intelligent boy, eager to learn and very trainable! He sits for a treat!
Vance is neutered, up to date in his vaccines, heartworm negative, and up to date on his monthly preventatives.
He is currently at our physical location in East Texas and is still looking for his forever home. He can be transported by our rescue team to his forever home; we have transports every other week to cities all over the US! If you are interested in adopting Vance, please complete an adoption application.
Once we have received your application, we will review and reach out to set-up an interview with one of our volunteers! Our rescue is a foster-based rescue, therefore, we cannot "hold" a dog or puppy after the approval of your adoption application. Foster homes are very limited, especially with the wide range of states we adopt to.
Thank you!
