Meet Velma!  A six-year-old rat terrier mix who came up from Texas with her sister Daphne. She is loving, timid, and calm,  adores going on walks, and is curious about people, other dogs, and squirrels!  She gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with furry friends or older children.  Although little kids might startle her, once she gets to know you, she warms up with cuddles and kisses.  Velma is very well behaved on a leash and patiently waits when her foster mom stops.  She's potty trained and prefers the couch over a crate.

Velma needs a kind and patient owner who will be rewarded with her love and gratitude.  Let's make her Christmas wish come true and find her the perfect forever home where she can feel safe and loved!
