Meet Venaclito! Venaclito was surrendered to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center by his owners for unknow reasons.
We scooped him up on December 4th to become a Frosted Face.
Venaclito is 15 years old, weighs 9.5 pounds , and is very sweet and cuddly.
Venaclito was picked for a two-week Frosted Fling in December.
Lucky for him that fling turned into a foster, yet Venaclito is still searching for his forever home! His Foster Mom shares: "Venaclito is just the sweetest, easiest old man! I can't wrap my head around the fact that someone decided that he wasn't worth keeping anymore after 15 years.
He eats his breakfast and dinner without issue.
He eats in the same room as our dog and there is no food aggression on either end.
I put his liquid medication in his food and he has no problem with that.
Venaclito did have two accidents when he first arrived, but other than that he has been great! He goes potty at 9pm and then again at 6-7am without incident.
He enjoys a couple of walks a day and goes potty outside no problem.
He never asks to go out but we invite him to go out whenever we take our own dog outside in the yard.
He LOVES to go for walks.
He gets a walk in the morning and another walk later in the day.
He is really good on the leash.
After his walk he will nap for a few hours.
He loves to snooze on the couch or anywhere that's soft and comfy.
Venaclito wags his tail when he sees other animals but doesn't seem to care too much about any of them.
He is very chill with our dog and is never territorial or possessive.
Venaclito loves people.
He really wants to be close to you and would prefer to sit on your lap or right next to you.
He will greet people at the door with a tail wag but no barking.
Venaclito is such a sweet, chill little dog.
He wants to be close to his people and loves to snuggle at nighttime.
He and our dog even share a dog bed from time to time.
He loves everyone in our home and would be a great addition to any family.
Venaclito is doing great in his foster home but is still on the lookout for his forever home! Might it be with you?
